Oceanview Life and Annuity Company, formerly known as Longevity Insurance Company, was founded in 1965. The company was re-branded Oceanview Life in 2019 when it was acquired by Oceanview Holdings Ltd. Oceanview Life was established to issue competitive-yielding fixed annuity products. The company has partnered with Oceanview Asset Management, LLC a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bayview Asset Management, LLC to serve as its investment manager. In May 2018, Bayview raised $1 billion in equity capital from institutional investors to fund Oceanview.
